FAQ

How often should I get a facial?

That depends on your age and the condition of your skin. Typically in your 20’s you need to get a facial every 6-8weaks unless there is acne present than you would need to come in more often. In you 30’s a facial every 4-6 weeks, in your 40’s and beyond getting a facial monthly is recommended. This is because as we age our skin cell renewal gradually slows down.

Why are facials good for my skin?

Your skin is a living breathing organ that you can’t hide from the world. It shows if you’ve been good or bad to it. Getting a facial balances, hydrates, exfoliates, and overall gives your skin the glow that you don’t get from your everyday regime.

Does a facial hurt and will it make me break out?

A facial that is done properly should not be painful. It should also not typically break you out unless you have an excessive build up of dead skin with bacteria.

How long should I wait before scheduling my waxing appointment?

You should stop shaving 10-14 days prior to your waxing appointment. The hair should be ¼ of an inch long. If you’re in between waxing appointments depending on your hair growth your fallow up waxing can be done in 3-4 weeks.

Why is waxing better verses shaving?

Waxing the hair causes a slowing to the hair that grows back. The hair will also become much finer. Another plus, it minimizes ingrown hairs and skin irritation that you usually get with shaving.

Why is brow arching so popular and is thick or thin in?

Your eyebrows are the frame to your face. A well groomed eyebrow should be customized from person to person to best suit your facial structure. To thin of an eyebrow can look harsh and aging and to thick of an eyebrow can make eyes look smaller and tired. Tinting and grooming the eyebrows can also give you that perfectly clean polished brow.
